These days we have choices. Celebrants, Justice's of the Peace, the family Reverend, Priest, or Rabbi - even a close family friend or relative can apply to become a marriage officiate, or celebrant (if they meet the right criteria)!
​
The person who stands with you at the alter, bower, archway, garden, head table or wherever, will have quite a role to play in your wedding day - and, in many cases, your marriage going forward.
​
Your celebrant will feel right to you, understand your relationship and your wedding hopes and dreams. Her or she will walk you through the process, supporting you, guiding your words, and in the days, weeks, or months prior, be your love counselor.

When you meet ‘the one’ it’s all the things that literature, film, and music say it is. As a result, I LOVE playing a key role in seeing others enjoy this type of happiness. Central Otago is where I have lived, worked or played almost my entire life. Living in the heart of the province, with my husband Grahame, allows me to perform ceremonies in all the surrounding areas including Alexandra, Omakau, St Bathans, Cromwell, Clyde, Bannockburn, Ranfurly, and the Maniototo. I also travel to Queenstown, Arrowtown, and Wanaka.

What better role than working with people in love! LiveLoveWed was born because I wanted to combine my sense of fun, love, and enjoyment of living with my passion for being involved in the life celebrations of so many special people. Let’s say that I’m young (enough) to get caught up in all the excitement – and old enough to have (almost) 800 wedding experiences. There’s just about nothing I can’t handle.
